These small (about 1/4" diameter) sensors are ideal for measuring air or surface temperatures. They can easily be adapted to fittings for water and oil temperatures. No thermocouple interface is needed for these sensors.  This sensor looks identical to the TS1 sensor but has a higher temperature range.
